In 2008, Gaz Murdock left Waylander & was very briefly replaced by Ade Mulgrew, but returned later in the year. In early 2009, he left again to join Alestorm without informing the other band members despite Waylander's pressing schedule of live engagements, for which original guitarist Dermot O'Hagan stepped in for these gigs at short notice.
