The name "Vulpus" represents a unity between the archetypal concepts of the Wolf and the Fox within mythological beliefs.

Vulpus was formed during mid-August 2013 by G. and K.X. After four months, J. joined the band and one month later, the first demo was released in digital format. Due to the interest in a physical release, the demo was released on CD.
