According to the Prose Edda and the Heimskringla, Vanaheimr was the home of the Vanir gods prior to the Vanic war. Besides those two sources, there is very little evidence that the concept of Vanaheimr existed in pre-christian Scandinavia.
The band split up in 1999 as several members joined Susperia.
