Sirocco was originally an entirely instrumental band until 2007, when bass player Ciaran O' Cearuill took on vocal duties and firstly sang on their second full-length The March Through Crimson Frost. They call their genre "celtic thrash".
The band participated in the compilation "Metal Message Vol. IV" with the track "Forsaken Shores".
