Sundin is best known as the guitarist of Dark Tranquillity & Laethora. He wrote a strong portion of the lyrics featured on early albums by Dark Tranquillity, most notably 1993's Skydancer, 1995's The Gallery & 1997's The Mind's I as well as In Flames' 1996 The Jester Race album. He translated Swedish lyrics written by In Flames vocalist Anders Fridén to English on several albums while Fridén worked on his English proficiency.

Sundin is also a graphic designer & founder of Cabin Fever Media, which among other things creates artwork for metal bands. He recently published a book of independent artwork & sketches. He's done album layouts for his own bands (including solo project Mitochondrial Sun) as well as for In Flames, Arch Enemy, Nightrage, Sentenced, Kryptos & Fragments of Unbecoming.
