Therthonax (a.k.a. Mentor) formed the band and, with the help of Stefan Necroabyssious and Eskarth the Dark One, recorded a track, which was released as a split 7" with Sigh by Cacophonous Records.
Drummer Nikos Samakouris (aka Vriareos) joined and "To Cavirs" mini-LP was recorded in '95, and later released the "To Cavirs" CD, which had 3 extra tracks. Participated on the 1997 tribute to Bathory CD ''Hellas Salutes the Vikings'' with the song ''Sadist'', which is the only recording with Iapetos 666 on vocals so far.
In 2013 the band played a live gig for their 20th anniversary in Athens (Kyttaro Club). Ravenlord Wampyri Draconium and Acherontas v.p.9 did guest vocals on this show.
In 1999 Therthonax and Diavelgenus a.k.a. Archemoros changed their names.
The band name can be seen also as ΚΑΒΕΙΡΟΣ due to its Greek spelling. In 2007 Mentor created a folk project named ΚΑΒΕΙΡΟΣ.
