Formed in January 1992 by Jørn Inge Tunsberg and Remi Andersen.
The band originally played a raw black/Viking metal style before experimenting with a more progressive black metal sound in Hades Almighty.
Tunsberg served prison time for his burning of the Old Åsane Church in 1992.
