The band formed in 1989 under the name Ranger playing technical thrash metal 'till mid 1991. In 1990 the band changes its line-up as well as the name to Chemical Warfare. In May '91 the band plays the only show they ever given under that name and releases it as a live tape titled "Some Fuckin Life Else". Shortly after they split into two bands: Surgical Intervention (death metal, with Wladislaw Saltsevich and Alexander Urakoff) and Cronation: (death/doom, with Lesley Knife) but soon they reunited under the name Xyron, almost immediately switching back to Chemical Warfare. After releasing "Demolition Tape" demo in 1992 they again change their name to Gods Tower.
- Beyond Praying (two-song single recorded 9/93 at the Moscow TEF Studio: never released because Final Holocaust Records closed and lost the master tape).
