The band is led by Olivier Déhenne, who writes all the band's lyrics and has been Eros Necropsique's sole stable member since 1993.

Olivier is also an author and has published his first book, Les miasmes de la claustration, in 2005 on the independent publisher K-inite.

In 2004, the band played three acoustic concert/theater performances at the famed Avignon Theater festival.

Despite having plans to release a new album in 2006 (Parentheses de Lumiere) as well as a DVD, the band wasn't active from about the mid-00's until 2014, when they started to play live again.
