This is a simple, relatively short debut demo tape by a promising new Slovakian black metal two-piece band. Of the 5 tracks, 2 are instrumentals, and both of these songs are are not metal at all, rather, they are ambient pieces. So there's not a lot to go by in terms of the metal, but what little material there is here, I'd certainly call solid.

Regarding those ambient tracks, they're quite well-written. Very atmospheric synth arrangements, nothing out of the ordinary but nicely done, unobtrusive background music. Decent ambient stuff, let's move on to the meat and bones of this little beast.

Stylistically, the band is what you'd expect after hearing a 3 minute ambient introduction. It's slow to mid-tempo ambient black metal, or depressive if you will - the vocals being a little more on that side of the tracks. Fairly heavy distortion, slow beats. It's dark, it's introspective, and (as with any good depressive band) surprisingly catchy.

To be frank, it's not really anything new or whatever - but it's quite well written, so I'd surely recommend it to fans of slow, simple atmospheric black metal. It's good background/chillout music. If you enjoy bands like Altoriu Seseliai, Benighted in Sodom or Sombres Forets, you'll probably like this.
