Cadacross began as a death metal band in the vein of Carcass before moving to a Children of Bodom/Norther style for their first album. Georg Laakso was originally the vocalist as well, but only played guitar for the second album after a large shift in band members.

Cadacross seem to have split up following the crippling injury (due to a car accident) that forced bandleader Georg Laakso to retire from playing.

Jukka Salo (clean vocals) and Riku Ylitalo (accordion) performed as guest musicians on the second album, but were not full-time members of the band.
