The band had split-up in 2000 but came to life again in December 2003 and finally split-up on 30th September 2004

A long time ago, a doom metal band called Hysarty was formed by David, Benjamin, Dominique, Steven, and Kris. After a while, David and Benjamin became tired of the doom metal and wanted to play black metal and viking metal. Dominique, Steven, and Kris decided to quit the band  so Benjamin's older brother Dimitry joined their new band, Asgard.
